Welcome to Northstar Online Clinic. By accessing or using our telehealth services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Northstar Online Clinic provides telehealth consultation services through licensed healthcare providers. Our services include evaluation, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and prescription services for various acute and chronic conditions.
3. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
- Be located in Colorado or Maine at the time of consultation
- Provide accurate and complete health information
- Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
4. Provider-Patient Relationship
By using our services, a provider-patient relationship is established between you and Ryan Foley, APRN. This relationship is subject to professional standards and ethical obligations. Our services are not intended for emergency medical situations.
5. Medical Disclaimer
NOT FOR EMERGENCIES: Our telehealth services are not appropriate for emergency or life-threatening conditions. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
Our services are intended to supplement, not replace, the relationship between you and your primary care physician. We recommend maintaining regular in-person care with a local healthcare provider.
6. Consultation Process
- Consultations are conducted through the Push Health platform
- You must provide accurate and complete medical information
- Treatment recommendations are based on the information you provide
- Prescriptions are issued at the provider's discretion when medically appropriate
- Follow-up care may be recommended or required
7. Fees and Payment
- Consultation fee: $70 per consultation
- Payment is required at the time of booking through Push Health
- We operate on a cash-pay basis and do not accept insurance at this time
- Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- You are responsible for any pharmacy costs for prescribed medications
8. Prescriptions
Prescriptions are issued at the sole discretion of the healthcare provider based on medical necessity and appropriateness. We do not prescribe controlled substances or medications with high abuse potential through telehealth consultations. Certain medications may require in-person evaluation.
9. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete health information
- Follow treatment recommendations and instructions
- Inform us of any changes in your condition
- Use prescribed medications as directed
- Seek emergency care when appropriate
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northstar Online Clinic and its providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the consultation.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Northstar Online Clinic and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
12. Privacy and Confidentiality
Your use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. We comply with HIPAA and maintain the confidentiality of your health information.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate the provider-patient relationship at any time for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Providing false or misleading information
- Abusive or inappropriate behavior
- Non-compliance with treatment recommendations
- Violation of these Terms of Service

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado and the State of Maine, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of these jurisdictions.
